Shambhu Narain Hari Narain Foundation realized the need for a good school in Faizabad where learning can be enjoyable and stress free. In view of providing value based modern education it was decided to start a school with facilities comparable with international standards. The school was founded in the year 2003 and by 2008 it has grown up to 10+2 level with both Science and commerce streams. (Humanities applied for). At Avadh International School, Thrust is not on role learning but on inculcating the habit of self-learning where teachers play a rote of friend, philosopher and guide. Accordingly we had adopted the activity based approach for teaching at the Primary level, together with a system of grades for assessing the child’s performance. The aim of assessment is to improve the child’s capability rather enforcing retention in the same class
1- Admission to any class is possible provided there is
a vacancy in that class and applicant qualifies the written test and interview.

If a child who qualifies the test but fails to deposit fees within a week of declaration of result,
his/her admission will be considered null and void.
3- The decision of the Principal in matters of admission shall be final.
Fees will be remitted on quarterly basis i.e. for 3 months.
Ist Quarter April to June (in April)
2nd Quarter July to September (in July)
3rd Quarter October to December (in October)
4th Quarter January to March (in January)
The fees of every quarter will be deposited between 10th and to 15th April, July, October and January from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The newly admitted children would pay the first fee in cash.
The parents are requested to deposit four postdated cheques stating fees for every quarter. The fees cheque should be drawn in favour of “Avadh International School” payable at Faizabad. Each cheque should contain name of the student, class and section on its back side. Cheque from outstation and nonclearing house member banks will not be accepted.
If the cheque is dishonoured, a fine of Rs. 200/- will be charged.
If a child has attended school even for a day in any quarter, fees for the whole quarter will be charged.
Readmission fees is Rs. 1500/-
Transport facility is also available on paying the amount as per the distance
The school has a fleet of buses and cars available to take the children to and fro. The school buses will ply according to route chart. Parents will have to opt for the bus facility at the time of admission/ opening of the school. Bus charges will also be paid in installments along with the school fee. It will be responsibility of the parent(s)
For better understanding of science and maths the school has developed science labs for class VI to VIII and from IX – XII
The school has developed its library . It is fully equipped with collection of books, resource center periodicals magazines. The encyclopedia, charts maps etc for effective learning and teaching.
The school has a large play ground with adequate facilities for indoor and outdoor games like cricket, football, volleyball, kho-kho, badminton, table tennis, chess, handball, basket ball etc.
Help in self-assessments with variety of classroom exercises.
Smart classes have self-learning as well as teacher aided learning mode 24 x 7 Internet is available to facilitate updating of existing material.
From integral part of teaching and learning process. There are hobby classes of dance, music, games and sports under the expert guidance of the teachers and coaches
